NJE (4-0)[-6] v AO (3-1)--Game of the Week-- Best oline (nje) v best dline( ao) automatically sets this one up for a good football game.. AO looked a lot better in their close one with Roc then NJE did by giving up two scores to the eagles.. I just don’t think that will matter come Sunday... Both teams will come to play and I see more of a defensive battle then last weeks scoring fest.. Both (if nje still uses the back up) QB’s are very “crafty” which was a good word I heard to describe the two and both are without a doubt running threats.. One will have to overcome a vicious pass rush on one hand and a set of lockdown d-backs on the other.. The team who wins this game will be thanking the playmaker who came through down the stretch… Who wants it more???
Legends (2-2)[-10] v Eagles (1-3)--- I’ve been waiting for this one.. Very curious to see how this one plays out… Legends are back to normal and the Eagles are no joke.. I give Legends the edge because of experience and skill but eagles are slowly becoming a team I am interested in. They bring relentless pressure but with it comes its up and downs.. Legends get the 10 points out of respect but eagles could prove me wrong.
Rush (4-0)[-12] v Old School (2-2)---Rush’s first battle to the end finally brought them back down to earth.. And I couldn’t help but notice that their opponents (falcons, eagles ,jokers and chaos) have a combined ONE win.. That has to be the most forgiving schedule ive ever seen and I guess its not Rush’s fault.. They had a team put in front of them and did what they had to do.. But damn, they must have a brutal couple weeks coming up…Old school what the hell.. You let your little bother the jokers play a game with you guys and makes me wonder whether you guys are out here just for fun or to win, a lot, as well.
Falcons (0-4)[-2] v Chaos (0-4)-- Doughnut Bowl-- Would have loved to see the Falcons beat Rush to shakes things up, but it shows that these guys aren’t going anywhere. I still don’t think they will win more then a game or two but it wont be an easy week for any opponent.. Chaos, common. You guys are better then this.. Have no excuses because you have some talent.. Takes winners to win.. The loser of this one should have to roll up to the next game in team colored rollerblades as punishment…
Roc (4-0)[-18] v Jokers (0-4)--- Jokers, losing to old school by one point is without a doubt impressive and has brought you back into the small, actually very tiny, picture.. Keep playing like that and your first win might leave the opposition having to go through a real bad week…To bad you wont get to keep up the momentum because you are going to get smacked.. Roc has the first big win of the season and can take a nice deep breath after that one. Not only do they get to relax until they meet up with Rush and NJE, they get the benefit of having a tight, down to the wire game under their belts…
Eric Roc Boys, my bad, didn’t see your post about the picks last week.. 3-2 isn’t bad and at least you came out on top… more people should pick the games and create a little side competition.. Captains call out other captains and pick some games, see who knows this league the best... Ill try my best with the spreads and they def can be changed if im completely wrong…
