I like people making their picks, even though rough rider, who probably will reply to this before I even finish typing it.. lol..made his picks without even seeing the teams play and lights up this message board.. (damnn I hope you have a blackberry or a laptop attached to your hip).. inspired me to do things a little different this year… Last year with the 16 teams and the out of conference match ups made it a lot more interesting to pick the games then this year…You want a challenge? ill handicap the games and lets make the picks.. give teams a little more to prove.. As you can see the games are very predictable, at least up until this point, and unless the nj jokers came out to be the new roc boys( very happy you guys are back in the league by the way) things would and will play out pretty much as most of us know it will….
NJE and Roc Boys are by far the big dogs and the favorites. If NJE’s QB is really hurt things completely change. Plus these two didn’t play last year. Very interesting match up.
Rush and AO can easily upset one of those two teams in playoffs.
Falcons and Legends didn’t add anybody.. I feel like all the above did.
Old school is real good in my opinion. Need some linemen
Chaos and Eagles. Eh I don’t know.
Jokers. New team has to adapt. Can get better.
Jokers (0-2) v AO (2-0) --- I wish JD would come back…besides some of the free agent report cards hands down the funniest thing of the year so far.. Havnt had the privilege of watching these guys ball yet, but ill take it easy on you guys if you bring a full squad to every game and come to play… thats all that matters at the end of the day.. AO, very disappointed with the win last week. falcons are no joke, but I think AO is the team of the year. Added alot of talent and before you doubt the qb, watch him play. I don’t throw these words around much but hes a playmaker. Problem with the team is SPEED… they lack very much of it.. With some added bulk on d and an offense that takes 3/4 of a game to figure out, don’t be surprised to see AO keep winning games.
AO (- 25)-- can jokers cover?
Legends (0-2) v Falcons ( 0-2) --Game of the Week-- Neither one of these teams thought they would be without a check in the win column after week two, but don’t let anybody fool you. These guys don’t let anybody walk over them and that goes for both teams… Legends has some fire power on o and needs improvement on the defense side of the ball. Falcons are tough to move the ball on. Type of team who makes the games feel longer then they really are but I cant stress this anymore.. Has the WORST offensive game plan ever.. Cant run the ball every play if you want to win…
Legends (- 8)-- I think legends could win by a TD, maybe two..
NJE (2-0) v Chaos (0-2) ---havnt seen NJE in third place on the score board in a while.. Wonder how they like that? Chaos put up I think three scores on Roc Boys, can they do it on NJE.. will be interesting to find out. If they do put points on the board then this team might be able to make some things happen... NJEs QB, who ill agree with the team, is by far the best qb in the league.. even though Roc boys qb is VERY VERY good. was put on the board as being hurt. Leaves NJE with an absolute dominate defense but with a much to prove offense…
NJE (-24)-- will chaos score?
Rush (2-0) v Eagles (1-1) --- Rush really impressed me with im not sure how many, if any, new players. But just seem focused and ready to win.. 66 points in two games leads the pack and I have a feeling no one are their team is surprised. Things will balance out when you come across some better squads. But my question to you guys.. Will the standings? curious to see how this one plays out.. should be exciting. Eagles did the league justice and smacked the jokers in the debut with the sea men. Round of applause for that. Came back and played old school, who might have handled you guys, real tough. A playmaker or two away from being real dangerous.
Rush (-24)-- will eagles score?
Roc Boys (2-0) v Old School (1-1) --- Im looking at one thing when it comes to this game and that is Roc Boys defense. Out of the top 3- 4 teams in the standings the only difference that stands out to me is points allowed.. last week doesn’t mean anything, but this week does. Can this team shut someone down if they have to. Big question…Old school, if they keep the qb in who throws the ball, actually both run on what seems like every play, but the qb they use the most is a playmaker and they have a stud wr. Need to add some linemen and this team would be contenders…
Roc Boys (- 18)--old school, keep it within two tds and ill be impressed.
