First of all I’d like to say I’m glad to see that the board is back. The whole registration bit scared a bunch of old favorites away but its good to see people slowly creeping back. I guess a little controversy goes a long way. My playoff breakdown and end of season rankings are soon to come. (Excuse the delay when I saw the match-ups it looked pretty easy, but I think there’s a sleeper team out there that will shake things up)
The LOD saga has killed a lot of the allstar buzz, but lets not let it die. I think there have been a lot of good ideas out there this game should happen. After reading panthros allstar post I realized he made some good points. Like everyone else I got caught up in the hype of making sure my team was properly represented and I was focusing on making sure the better teams had better representation at the game, which in fact has nothing to do with an allstar game. It’s not the “reward the best teams game its an allstar game”, meaning the best people, with the best production should be out there not necessarily just people from the best team. Obviously better teams are still going to end up with more allstar selections because they probably have better players but to say they have to have at least certain amount would take away from the game. Selection criteria should be based on talent and production not value to a team. A lot of people that would be playing in this game will be out here this wknd, so lets make something final. Dan a little help or suggestion could get this off the ground.
Playmaker you're usually on point, but when you said since NJE had 200+ points all of there WRS should make the team and start you were off base. You’re not going to tell me that the # 3 and 4 WRs on NJE are better than any other receiver in the east that’s crazy… Together with there qb, and line they make the best offensive unit yes... but not individually.
