I came across a medallion,Bronze color,1.390" dia.X0.104" thick. Along the top is printed "FOR 100 YEARS". In center is raised diamond with raised bar with ILLINOIS CENTRAL" and tiny 1851 above left of the "IL" and same size 1951 above "AL" on right edge of bar ,and under bar has "MAIN LINE OF MID-AMERICA. on reverse is a map of eastern half of the U.S. Texas/Okla/ etc to the East coast and looks like wheat around the outer edge.Looks like small word to right of Florida, cant tell if it is Miami or starts with a "K" may be designer's name. This would be 50 years old now. Can anyone tell me about it and if a 150 year one was made this year.any idea of its value for collectors? It seems to be in very good condition as coins go. aany info. appreciated.
