USSSA Church World

This past weekend was the Church World Tournamnet located in Cary which my church played in. Me personally I think it was a very well ran tournamet and besides a couple there were really great umpires there. But what really concerns me is there were 19 teams and in our division and there where 16 I would say ligit church teams and the world tournament championship was between two teams USA and Pro Plus Roofing. To my knowledge I ahve yet to see a church name USA nor a congregation that puts on roofs. How can a church team compete with a weekend team that has matching everything bags uniforms the whole works and teams that have sponsors on there shirts with no church and allowed to play in the world. I think it was a disgrace to the program and hopefully before the next one it will be cleaned up. Congrats to Warrens Grove for 3rd palce and Conerstone for 4th and representing NC to the fullest considering they were the only two legit church teams left. Please leave your opinion on the matter please

If you look up on the national site, USA was Longsville Baptist last year. They may have changed their name and they were from Ga. They played D last year and may have dropped down. That is the decision of the GA director. Andy has done a great job in getting the Church going and to get the World here was great. Just remember that the Lord knows all and everyone will be judged in the end. Keep Praising GOD and be a testimony for him.

I understand that and the reason we play is for the Lord and the people from our community and Church. And I will be honest USA wasnt even the team that got me upset but when a team comes out on sat with Advantage sporting goods and sunday as Pro plus roofing there is a problem there. Why not at least have a shirt with a church name on it. That is really what got me. And this isnt towards Andy at all. He had a great well ran tournamnet and I give all the props to him one can give. I had a great time an deveryone from U trip did a great job
