Mick....we had her as well and a few others that had to be the worst plate umpires I have ever seen in all my 70 years of ball. 
I mean you play all year in NC and at least you have to slow and bow it for the most part.C&H didn't seem to have too much trouble with it though.Seems NC is behind the times as we seem to be the only state that plays the game without alot of BS circus acts on the mound as well.I mean you run into a few having siezures out there,but we ran into and saw some absolute BS with pitchers.I guess my old school mentality looks at that as making a mockery of the sport.I know,it is somewhat part of the game to act a fool on the mound,but rolling around on the dirt,cutting flips and just all out clown acts is overboard.The umps allowed it and I guess that is all that matters,which is a joke IMO.Oh well,it was still underhanded and we didn't hit enough to make a run.Good job to those teams that did pretty well.Time for the little white ball and reflection on life......
