This past weekend was the Church World Tournamnet located in Cary which my church played in. Me personally I think it was a very well ran tournamet and besides a couple there were really great umpires there. But what really concerns me is there were 19 teams and in our division and there where 16 I would say ligit church teams and the world tournament championship was between two teams USA and Pro Plus Roofing. To my knowledge I ahve yet to see a church name USA nor a congregation that puts on roofs. How can a church team compete with a weekend team that has matching everything bags uniforms the whole works and teams that have sponsors on there shirts with no church and allowed to play in the world. I think it was a disgrace to the program and hopefully before the next one it will be cleaned up. Congrats to Warrens Grove for 3rd palce and Conerstone for 4th and representing NC to the fullest considering they were the only two legit church teams left. Please leave your opinion on the matter please
