Is anybody really gonna stick up for phillip? I will. I think that all of ya'll that are sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong need to politely exit from the message board. Maybe phillip shouldn't have posted what he posted but the fact is that he did and that if you didn't support that why honor it with a response? If anybody was gonna respond it should have been randall and randall did respond. I am not saying that i support putting your dirty laundry on the message board, but the fact is it happened. From reading everything between phillip and randall and viewing the fact that this is a public domain here's my opinion on the matter. Randall how many players do you have that haven't missed a tournament at all? If you answered none...then i will to your face next time i see you call u a liar! I know for a fact that there are players that have missed more than just two saturdays still playing with randall, i know that there are players who missed the NIT that hardknocks won @ myrtle beach still playing for randall, i know a lot of people that randall has playing for him and i know a lot of people that randall has cut in the past. my personal opinon of randall is that he's not a bad guy, he's not a bad coach, but that there are some things that he does wrong EVERYBODY DOES STUFF WRONG SOMETIMES! Do I think phillip should have been cut? No. Do I know the whole story? YES. Do I know more than what there is out there to this story...YES. What you may ask yourself do I know that you don't? Here it goes...I for instance know that Phillip drove to cherokee NC one saturday night after he got off work to play 1 game on sunday...thats about a 5 hour drive i believe. i know that phillip returned to playing ball in feb. against the advice of doctors (phillip broke his back in 2 places last year in a motorcycle accident thats why he didn't go to the world) just so that he could play with randall because thats who he liked to play with. i know that phillip had already paid randall to go to the world this year and had every intention of going. i know that phillip didn't BAIL ON HIS TEAM IN THE "E" STATE LIKE SOME PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE. MATTER OF FACT I KNOW EXACTLY WHERE PHILLIP WAS. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT RANDALL KNOWS WHERE PHILLIP WAS BECAUSE I KNOW THAT PHILLIP GAVE RANDALL OVER A WEEKS NOTICE THAT HE MIGHT HAVE TO MISS SOME GAMES THAT SATURDAY. I ALSO KNOW AS A COACH THAT I EXPECT MY PLAYERS TO HAVE A MORAL CONCIOUS AND PHILLIP WAS FOLLOWING HIS THAT SATURDAY AND BEING A LEADER FOR THE TEAM THAT NEEDED HIM MOST WHETHER IT WAS HARDKNOCKS OR NOT. I KNOW THAT PHILLIP IS A DAMN GOOD BALL PLAYER AND THIS IS MORE OF RANDALL'S LOSS THAN IT IS PHILLIPS BECAUSE SOMEBODY WILL PICK HIM UP AND HE WILL MAKE ANOTHER TEAM BETTER. I KNOW THAT PHILLIP REALLY REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING FOR HARDKNOCKS AND THAT HE CONSIDERS A LOT OF THOSE GUYS TO BE NOT ONLY TEAMMATES BUT GOOD FRIENDS OF HIS. all i can say is good luck in fla. hardknocks, i wish you well, but i also wish you luck replacing the talent and personality that phillip brought to your team, its gonna be hard to do. anybody thinking about picking phillip up needs to know hes a good stick hes a great outfielder and he is ultra-competetive. he puts what he has on the field every single game. yeah he may have to miss a couple of saturdays every now and then, but honestly "its just a game" and you have to ask from vacation from work, not from play....
