Posted by Eric The reason My 528 sat for a year is duee the bat always dieing. I replaced the voltage reg twice and the complete alternator once and everytime it only puts out 12.6v. This is not enough to charge the batt. (13.5-14.5) I have also put new batt cables, body to batt ground (4gauge) and a new alt ground just like the faq page showed. I had a starting problem which i put in a toggle switch to use as the starter switch. Could all this be because of the ignition switch? I have to charge the batt every weekend. Eventually it kills the batt for good.

My 1980 528 has been sitting for a year. After replacing the batt and cables it is not getting any fuel. neither pump is working. Could the pumps be frozen from the fuel turning to varnish? I am getting power from the fuse to the combo relay. but none to the pumps. Also, if I run power directly to the pumps they still don't run.
