Hi Simon,
Well, I had to go back to the drawing board on many things: I had a driveshaft made, nice and thick with massive U-Joints. The differential was re-designed, using a bunch of extra clutch packs as well as extra load bearings. So far, it takes whatever I toss at it. There is some frame work done to support body flex. The engine and transmission are solid mounted, using special solid-flex mounts. A Titanium Guibo transmits the power to the rear end--this is a very cool item of my creation and I will market them soon--who in the hell needs rubber :o)
Even still, with all these mods, under load it feels like the car wants to twist like a rag, so much so that it seems to almost want to flip over on its side...and that's only with about 10psi of boost. Part of that could be imagination because nothing gets twisted :o)
Other than the power, it has a nice, smooth ride and feels good on the road and I have no other issues to report. Brakes are great. I use big vented rotors up front and big vented rotors in the rear. Stops fine. The steering is stock.
