I was wondering if I get a 325I head and put it on a '84 325e block, would that be faster or would it be a bad idea? Also i wanted to know if the 325e stock intake manifold would fit on the 325i head. Can I just change the head and put the rest of the 325e parts onto the head, or do i need the 325i intake manifold? Also would my valves hit my pistons with the head on the 325e block, and do i need to advance or retard my timing? I heard that compression drops if this is done. Is that true?
