Posted by Art just posting here cause I'm finding it very difficult to find anything out there to help me super tune my 79 528i. I used to own VWs which were a breeze to find specific performance parts, but it seems that all I'm finding as far as BMW performance parts are only for mid-80s and later... any suggestions? I love my car and wouldn't change it in for anything. Just want to spend a whole lot of sweat helping it realize its dream to be a supercar couple specifics: 79 528i, automatic, rebuilt small-6... mod fantasies: new engine (turbo?), new tranny, new suspension (racing), plus anything else that would naturally have to be replaced to accomodate the modifications... any help would be greatly appreciated... I am not mechanically knowledgable yet and I'm basically forseeing paying a third party to do the major work (just so it's done right).. later, I'll figure out how to work on the car correctly. thanks again
