One thing at a time stuff. I want to plan every aspect and hopefully get it right. I've only rebuilt lawn mower engines and the like. So I don't want to waste any money doing this. Its a project that won't get done over night ... Looking at 2 + years due to budget. But I want to take my time and plan it all out and ask the experts before I start buying parts and paying for machining. I don't know how far I want to go yet HP wise or if I even want to use an M20 block. I've considered an M30 or doing a swap for an S50 and such. Any links, book suggestions, ideas are very much appreciated. btw Zane the article in Roundel has impressed the local woodchucks I work with. They never thought a BMW could have more HP than their mustanges & cameros etc.

Hey all, I've owned my E30 for a little over a year and put almost 40K miles on it. I'll be buying another one for daily driving and I'll turn this one into a fun car.
