Hello mohu,
I read your comments on Alistair's book called "Partisan" and I could not agree with you more because this book, like his other books, is very good but it is also unique as he deals with the Serbians and the Croats in an special Macleans way and only he can write it the way he has done it in the book. Alistair is extremely unique in his writing because he is not only gifted in his command of the language and the great humour but always the plot of the story seems balanced and real. Real in the sense because you always finnish the book so fast that it is like taking a huge jet flight for pleasure and you do no it want it to finnish but when you do finnish the book it is like landing too early from your enjoyable flight and you are really really disappointed that the story has come to an end. I love his books and the stories it contain. I will keep reading his books over and over again and still I will never get tired of reading it beacuse it is an honour to read a book written by such a great story writer the likes of which this world will never ever see. But I want to see another Alistair Maclean in this world because the world will be a poor place without anyone taking over where he left off. I hope it will be in my life time.
