A few years back I worked at HarperCollins the publishers in New York City. One of the people I knew there (Katie) was friends with a certain editor. I turned up at Katies door, a person was in the room talking to Katie. Katie immediately broke off, and goes, "Oh, here is Alistair Maclean!"
