I am so sorry that it has taken this long for me to be able to reply to your lovely message. Yes, Tom was a great uncle to me and we all loved Rena. I could go on more, but it would be better to know that you've recieved my message.
I am hopeful, but after all this time, would be very, VERY surprised if you were able to read this.
I would be very pleased if we could make contact. I don't know if it is a good idea to leave my e-mail address or home phone number, so not sure how to get in touch.
Gee, how we seem to overlook handwriting and stamps!! That makes me remember your Dad's letter to Daddy.
He prefaced it with an apology for the type- written letter.
I have no idea if you are married, your age, where you live, but we seem to have a lot in common. Daddy would tell use how he would come home to Granny's in Daviot, and Alistair would be sitting the paper..........out of the blue! not a word said, just normal as could be.
Now that I think about more, this was a rare and odd friendship with the Fraser clan of Daviot!!
You post was so long ago, that I don't know if you'll receive it. If not, um.....it was nice to meet you!!! LOL
