Hi, I am from India and am an ardent fan of Alistair Maclean. I really appreciate his humour, wit, impeccable English and of course the excellent plots in his books. There are very few authors of his genre today. I read my first Maclean, The Golden Rendezvous when I was twelve and I was hooked. My favourite is Partisans of which I find little mention in internet sites. The conversation in that book is scintillating.
