As an adult woman I am surprised over my exitement over Macleans books. I can not leave them unread and am even searching the net for further information about the author.
For me it is his wit and humour I appreciate the most, his dry and sardonic humour. But I have always liked the British humour as I found in my youth in PG . Woodhouse for instance.
So I am sorry MacLean died at such an early age.
I would have liked to read more and who knows what he might have develloped in other gendre.
