I cannot understand why nobody is giving any credit to Alistair for his brilliant book called "Puppet on a Chain" which was also filmed brilliantly with Sven Bertill Taube and Barbara Parkinson and it was first film in which the boat chase was mostly admired by everyone. Later the similar feat of boat chase was done in the James Bond film "Live and let Die" but all was credited to Puppet on the Chain. The book is simply a long excruciating pain of suffering the knowledge that you will not know the ending till Alistair makes you read the whole book to the end. This is story telling which only the genius like Alistair Maclean can do full justice to. My full recommendation to anyone who wants to find out what Maclean really is all about.
