DRM tests via RTL SW 6095, MW 1440 and LW 234 are happening but no word yet or anything set in stone of whether the English Service will ever return; it would be nice for RTL or some other broadcaster using RTL's subsidiary bce transmitter facilities to do for a few hours every night on a Europe wide DRM-SW/MW or LW frequency a few hours of English language test transmissions using old R.Lux jingles and music from over the 59 years it was broadcasting just to test the waters and set up an email address test@luxy.lu and a phone line and a www web board for DRM listeners to the tests to send in reception reports and comments. This sort of test transmission will enable RTL to guage and research audiences via this method prior to bringing back a full 24h English Language service of Radio Luxembourg. This isn't uneconomical, or costly but anything like this is at least worthy of a go and should be considered.
