I think it was broadcast on the French service of RTL - although I would imagine the English service might have tried to also TX it - I really have no memory that we actually did. I somehow doubt it - Mr Jarre had lost his appeal to the UK audience by 1983 - but was still a significant "star" in France - RTL also had TV in France - so JMJ would have been a wise man to keep them sweet - they had heck of a market share and wonderful coverage at that time.... There was always something of a "Competition" between the various language services of RTL - and often "specials" were kept just for the benefit of one service - it was rare that a group-wide promotion would take place - in fact, I cannot recall any occassion when all the services simulcast anything.....
