I have emailed Roberts dozens of times as well as Morphy to try and get an idea of when their DRM portables in the UK will be released on sale to dealers and dealer shelves;Morphy never replies and Roberts are holding back the release of their MP40 their reasoning saying "it needs more product development and tests with various broadcasters before we can release it to our dealers in the UK". Hardly encouraging is it? If I was the boss of both Morphy and Roberts then I would have taken the risk and released the sets a lot sooner AND I would have, through the Roberts dealers and on local/national UK TV and radio promoted the relaunch of R.Luxembourg and the facility to hear european and international MW/LW/SW stations in mono and stereo with near FM quality and a reception and audio fidelity that is far far better than analog AM.
