Hi & thanks for bringing up that topic. I was an avid listener to luxy back in 1974 an had totally forgotten that song...and now i have obtained a copy from a german record dealer. the song is from august 1974 and was indeed a power play. I would be interested in finding out more songs that were power plays around then and if anybody knows how they were chosen. Spontaneously I can think of power plays like "satisfaction guaranteed" by harold melvin or "what in the worldīs come over you" by tam white (?)...but itīs astonishing how little one remembers.
