hi holly, i logged off the website and just couldn't stop thinking about your dilemma. it is really hard to stay in a job that doesn't support your work, dedication, and genuine concern. can you change settings, such as working with birth to three or ages 3-5 years? can you go into private practice perhaps teaming up with another colleague? switch to working with adults? (i had a few positions with the adult population and it wasn't for me. the admin was constantly worried about getting our 'mods' in for billing purposes, HATED it). our field has lots of options and flexibility. look at what you really love to do in our field and perhaps make a switch to do that. just a thought. for what it is worth, you may find this video interesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34xoYwLNpvw
