I know what you mean about being responsible for so many more areas. Some of the teachers in my school treat me like I am a tutor. And I feel the same way - an unappreciated extra resource teacher. I had a teacher recently email me about a new student and that he needed 30 minutes a day of language sessions because that is what his former teacher told her he was getting. I looked at his IEP and it is 120 min a month so told her that and told her 30 minutes a day would be extraordinary. I all my kids got that, I could only have a caseload of 10-15. lol
I am seriously looking into private practice and/or working per diem. I need to go back to loving what I do with the kids and not resenting all the other stuff.
