Oh, much2say, there's always going to be those cackling hens in the background making snarky comments about how easy our job is. This is what I do: I throw my hands up in the air. Bow to the accuser. Gesture to my empty seat in my closet of an office and say, "You are sooooo welcome to switch places with me. All you need is a Masters degree BEFORE you sit in that seat (list additional credential stuff) and create specialized treatment plans for 50+ students. You also have to summon your inner secretary and schedule, as well as attend, 50+ meetings - even those ugly contentious ones! Oh, and all of these things have to be done... BY YOURSELF."
Sometimes, girlfriends, you gotta give attitude when given an attitude. And, if you're wondering if the above has worked for me, the answer is yes (maybe because I also gave a look that said, "Oh, no, you didn't go there!")
