I totally understand calislp. I have a caseload that is around 75 right now in K-12 and in four different buildings (fortunately they are close together though). I am not sure how much longer I can tolerate this job with the caseload being so high. The paperwork and meetings alone are enough to drive me nuts let alone figuring out how to schedule everyone. I had two students move in with IEPs since we got back from break. One fits nicely into my schedule but the other student will require that I rearrange my schedule to accommodate her. I had spent the last day before break rearranging my schedule to accommodate newly qualified students and now have to rearrange the schedule again. I am counting the days until spring break too. It can't come soon enough.
By the way, the title I reading teacher at my school was just complaining to me about having to deal with planning for students in 3 different grades. I wanted to scream since I have students in 13 different grades working on everything related to speech and language under the sun. I would love to just have 3 different grades all working on reading.
