There are dues both to ASHA and your state. Malpractice insurance is not much, but you will need it unless you work in the schools. CEU's are different from state to state as far as the # needed. Some states never check, others do.There are courses online, around the state and then of course ASHA convention. You will be able to get your CEU requirements in a reasonable way. OUR PROFESSION IS IN A CRISIS. we NEED MORE slp'S BUT WE ALSO NEED REFORM...JOB REFORM.
