Hi I used the Autism/PDD photo cards by Linguisystem for all types of 'wh' questions sorted into "What does she/he have?", "What are they doing?" etec etc etc. I used Boardmaker to write their sentence response such as "He has a puzzle" or "She is smelling a flower". I ask the question, show the photo and we touch each word in the response. It's worked wonderfully!
