I wonder if there will ever be a day when quality therapy (the kind you did in grad school is the true focus. The required paperwork is so ridiculous and at times paralyzing. There are days when I am literally glued to the chair for the entire day doing paperwork of some sort. When I'm sick, well, there isn't a substitute to take my place. Resource Teachers (with half the caseload - and with a cap!), Literacy Coaches, even secretaries have substitutes AND an assistant, but SLPs? I guess the world thinks we are super human beings to not have any help. Ha.
