I'm "just" an SLP-Assistant, but 1.5 years of the school system was enough to let me know I don't want to consider this setting after graduate school. There are things I LOVE about it, but more things I simply loathe. Sadly, this seems to be the case with a lot of talented SLPs. They are jumping like rats from a sinking ship in my district. It's sad, because ultimately the children pay for it.
