When I had smart kids for artic. I would play barrier board games when we took turn giving and getting clues to guess the word (containing target sound) that was up on their side. We played a dice game where each number of the dice corresponded to a picture and the student had to create a sentence using the words with the target sound words that corresponded with the numbers he rolled. Number of rolls increased as student became better and better at making sentences...incorporates some language as well.
