Why don't you ask him what HE likes, instead of doing what you think is fun? If he likes computer games, incorporate the ideas into your sessions (e.g. have him colour in his favourite characters every time he says the sound you're working on, or build a montage of a scene from a game, or if you're really desperate, reward him with the computer game itself if he gets through x sessions!).
