Yes. Tell them that you are doing the right thing, and that he may or may not eventually speak. They can keep trying the imitation but when it gets to a certain point you are there for help COMMUNICATION and sign seems to be the best way to go. There isn't anything else you can be doing! They will not want to hear this but we are not always miracle workers!
