I have a first grader who (among some articulation) also deletes final consonants and we've done words, phrases, and imitated sentences w/ FC all 100% correct. She just doesn't produce final consonants in connected spontaneous speech...sentences or conversation. So, in a cycles approach (which I actually love!), this would seem to be taking a step back. This is not generalizing?! This is the beginning of her second year of speech.
