I use many of Michelle Garcia Winner's materials. A great resource- if you get the chance to attend one of her workshops it is well worth the money. www.socialthinking.com It sounds like you might see this girl alone. I would look at having her come with a classroom peer for a lunch or recess group. You could play games appropriate for their age level or do simple projects. If you see this girl 2x week the 1st session could be practicing what she could say and do with the friend at the next session.
