German Stutterer

Any suggestions on what to do with a middle school kid that transferred from Germany that apparently stutters (in German as well as when Engilsh is attempted). I haven't seen him, but have been contacted by the AP and ELL teacher. He speaks/understands little to no English. No one in our small county speaks German, even the ELL teacher. I have been told that he also displays learning difficulties and/or language difficulties in German as well. What do I do?
