I am currently working with a number of 4 to 5 year olds diagnosed with Down Syndrome. They all exhibit the typical open mouth posture and severe tongue protrusion. I was wondering if anyone had therapeutic suggestions, or oral motor wise, what you would suggest I work on, target to decrease tongue protrusion even though this is a feature coinciding with the diagnosis!
