I have a prize box for my students in 3rd-5th grades and they love it. They each have a punch card - they get one punch for every session where they are working and well-behaved. They can earn an extra punch if they do (optional) home practice. When they get 10 punches, they earn a prize. I buy my prizes from US Toy or Oriental Trading Co. I try to find things that are no more than 25-40 cents each. This age loves things like bouncy balls, Chinese yo-yos, sticky hands, gliders, rings, mechanical pencils, etc. Most this age are no longer interested in stickers. They would also love gum or candy, I'm sure, but I stay away from that.
