I used to use candy-now our district has a no candy policy. So...they earn chewy bars/breakfast bars every 3rd session.
I also maintain a prize box. They get 5 points for coming to TX on their own (w/ reminder) and 5 more pts for participation. First they need 80 points for a prize, then 60 for the second prize. They earn about 3 prizes a year. The prizes are as close to $1-2 as possible. many are school supplies: packs of pens and mechanical pencils, mini stapelers, pencil sharpeners, also hair bands and clips, notepads, sticky notes, glow sticks, balls of differnet types (superballs, gross face balls, squishy balls, etc.), $ store hoops and balls, flavored chapstick, inexpensive jewelry from, for ex. Justice. Our population has many low income kids so they LOVE the prizes. By the way, this is Middle School. I also get holiday pencils (w/ Walgreens coupons-8-10 for $1) and give them out for homework compliance.
My multineeds K-3 earn from the classroom box on Fridays and I just contribute according to the specific kids.
Ask your local stores that you frequent-if in your school dist. (Jewel/Osco, Walgreens, Target) if they would consider helping you out w/ a donation-make sure you have the dist tax exempt letter with you.
