I have a student in 1st grade who has demonstrated final consonant deletion during connected speech. I'm going to work with her today on word level activities using pictures, but I'm anticipating that she will have the final consonants on the ends of the words. Do any of you have suggestions for improving final consonant deletion overall? I'm not as familiar with phonological processes as I am with articulation, but this is consistent enough that I feel it needs addressed as a phonological process.
Thanks. :)
