I work with 3-5 grades and they love the system that I have this year. They get one dollar for every session as long as they do the right thing. They can also earn another dollar for doing their speech/language homework and having it signed by a parent.
REWARDS:
$2.00: small candy (starburst, tootsie roll, gum)
$5.00: "big candy" (laffy taffy and snack size candy bars) OR a pen/pencil/highlighter (I buy pens/pencils/highlighters in bulk at Sams).
$20.00: they can pick out of the prize box, which is stuff I picked up in the dollar spot in Target. Hope this helps. This was a new system for me this year and so far so good. I have found that most kids love the candy and pens/pencils/highlighters. They really don't care about the prize box. :)
