I give the kids a choice: candy, fun erasers in a variety of shapes (soccer ball, hamburger, fries, ice cream, etc.) crazy pencils (tie in a knot) or smencils (pencils that smell like bananas, grapes, chocolate, etc.). I also get cheap items at a variety of stores (bouncy balls that light up, plastic glider planes, etc.) or they also have the option to pick a book (I've saved every book my kids ever had)
