Just checking in this arena for your experiences w/ medicaid billing in the schools.
1. what is basis for billing in your area/district/agency
2. do you have the freedom to select and choose for whom you bill...or are you required to bill for all kids on a list given to you?
3. do you receive a financial payment or other incentive from your billing? (add'l funds for CEU, materials, goes to your department, personal stipend)
4. do you receive yearly training in schoolbased medicaid billing?
5. have you ever been threatened, bullied or harassed by administration if you question billing for a given child or the current medicaid practice?
6. Do you read the Forum on ASHA website?
7. Have you ever participated in ASHA forum discussions re. medicaid billing in the school?
8. Do you believe medicaid billing has a rightful place in the schools?
9. If so...what/how?
