When he is at home, he speaks in his native language. His parents and siblings have a difficult time understanding his speech. His teachers from his school last year said that he was also quite reluctant to speak there, and that it took him a whole school year before he started opening up and speaking with them. Even then, it was only in 1-2 word utterances. This has been the case at this school as well.
