I am working with a four year old with a cleft lip and palate. The child can say m, w, r, and h. The child has difficulty with the rest of the sounds. The child is working on the F and P. The child has difficulty producing the P. The child is able to produce the F separted from the rest of the syllable and word. When producing the P it sounds like AH. Does anyone have any suggestions for goals. This is the first time I have worked with a child who has a cleft lip. HELP!!!
