I take a very cynical view because I have seen a number of my clients' families spend a lot of time and money on nutritional and medical treatments that have been ineffective. I think Autism has become a cottage industry with retailers, providers, and pop theorists who can, at times, talk a good game but essentially end up preying on vulnerable parents of children with special needs.
