Yeah, me too, Dawn. Very insightful article! You know, I use to hold off on /r/ until 2nd-3rd grade. Recently, I was successful with /r/ with some 1st graders. I think it all depends on the child. What blew my mind this year....I got 2 severe phonological delays..and both and perfect /r/'s, even in the final position. You wouldn't believe how happy I was!
