Can anyone inform me of what their district does when an SLP takes maternity leave? I am not getting a substitute, even though there are some in town, b/c no "funds" are available. I have exhausted all sick leave, so now the district is docking my salary at my daily rate. I am not upset about paying this daily rate b/c I am not working, so I shouldn't get paid, but I am furious that no sub is being provided and the other district SLPs are having to take over my caseload - which causes them to be over caseload. Any suggestions?
