I have 5 year old - who cannot lateralize his tongue. He does move it around his mouth for eating but cannot follow my direction to move from side to side at all. Can protrude slightly and retract. Does have OT and PT issues. He would sound better if better control of tongue muscles. Even for /l/ he does not touch behind upper teeth. Any ideas?
